Description, continued
This journal includes 365 days of gratitude entries to encompass an entire year. It is not intended to place undue pressure to “check a box” but to offer an easily accessible resource whenever you need, as often as you need. Each page offers morning, midday, and evening. If you only need one of those options, great! Utilize at your discretion and whatever feels good for you. Instead of broad, general gratitudes, try highlighting specific, distinct gratitudes relevant in the here-and-now. While postpartum with my second daughter, I found the early afternoon more challenging than either morning or night. During those “afternoon dips” I yearned for a boost or supportive intervention, thus the inclusion of midday. In addition, each page includes a helpful tip, resource, or uplifting quote. Healthily transitioning to motherhood requires resourcefulness! As you embark on your first trip around the sun as a mother, you deserve a wealth of supportive resources! Gratitude is a practice to promote positive thinking and feeling, something that can come in handy during this stressful and demanding life transition.
