  • Tailored for those navigating the joyful chaos of new parenthood, our Mommy & Me class is designed for mothers and their babies. Each 45-minute session is a deliberate break from the routine of caregiving, offering intentional self-care and connection. Delve into movements crafted to aid post-pregnancy strength, with a focus on core and pelvic health. Immerse yourself in mindful practices that support your journey as a parent while deepening the bond with your little one. Feel free to attend to your baby's needs, as the class welcomes feeding, changing, and bonding moments.

  • Welcome to our Pelvic Floor-Focused Yoga Class, a transformative journey that prioritizes stability, breathwork, and relaxation. This inclusive practice is designed for all seeking a slower, meditative flow. We'll begin by exploring modified yoga asana, functional mobility, and core and pelvic muscle balance through gentle vinyasa and movement. After, we'll transition to more restorative, passive, therapeutic postures.

Thoughtful variations will be introduced, allowing you to tailor your practice to your unique needs. Reconnect with your body, find balance, and join a community that comprehends and uplifts your wellness journey. This class is more than just yoga; it's an opportunity to prioritize self-care, fostering a supportive atmosphere where everyone, regardless of experience, is encouraged to thrive.

  • Step into our Trauma-Informed Yoga Class, a sanctuary for healing through accessible and mindful slow-flow yoga. This intentional, unhurried practice embraces standing and balancing postures, seated poses, supine positions, and deep relaxation, working towards a balanced and harmonious nervous system.

During this slow and secure practice, you will be provided with options to customize and personalize your experience, so that you can nurture your personal health and well-being. Immerse yourself in an environment where every breath guides you towards well-being, and each gentle movement becomes an opportunity to reconnect with your inherent strength and resilience. Join us on this path to well-being through the mindful practice of yoga.

No experience necessary. Everyone is warmly welcomed.

  • Join our Movement and Meditation Class for a down-to-earth experience that starts with a breath, eases into flow, and wraps up with introspective relaxation. No fancy stuff—just come as you are. In this chill space, we blend movement and meditation, aiming for a sense of peace and connection. It's a transformative journey where we rediscover harmony within both body and mind, creating space for tranquility and well-being in every session. Grab a spot, take a breath, and let's keep it real as we explore the beauty of moving and meditating together.

Meet our Yoga & Breathwork Facilitator

Jewels Peña

Jewels’ focus is alignment within the self. She’s been teaching yoga in the DMV full-time for close to nine years. After completing her initial 200-hour, Level 2, and Trauma Informed trainings, she earned her in-depth 300-hour certificate based in Sankhya philosophy. Jewels has also studied and is trained in the Functional Range System of Movement, a joint training system. She's a certified FRCms and group class instructor. In class, she incorporates her knowledge of yoga with respect and acknowledgment of the roots, history, and philosophies, joint mobility work (joint specific range of motion focus and strength training), and breath-work in order to bring about a holistic experience of health and well-being. Above all else, Jewels’ hope is to facilitate a safe, accepting, and enjoyable environment where all are welcome and reminded not to take it too seriously.
