How Becky Works

Becky’s career has been shaped by a strong foundation in family systems and relational work.
Early inher training, she studied with renowned therapist Salvador Minuchin and trained at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, experiences that deepened her understanding of family dynamics and systems-based care.

She also completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy under Sue Johnson, further strengthening her passion for working with couples and relational healing.

Over the course of her career, Becky has worked across private practice, community mental health, emergency psychiatric services, and clinical supervision. Her experience supporting both clients and developing clinicians has contributed to a broad and nuanced understanding of mental health care across settings.

Her transition into perinatal mental health was driven by clinical observation and lived awareness of unmet needs. As a mother of two young daughters, Becky recognized a significant gap in support for mothers experiencing perinatal mental health challenges and pursued specialized training to better serve this community.
